Called in this yesterday for a visit and receptionist said she could see me at 430. Then comes back and says can't see me at all now. Have had several horrible experiences there. Strongly recommend elsewhere ! Worst vet around ! If u care about your animals go elsewhere !!!Posted on Diana Taylor2025-06-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So had to take my furbaby to see the vet due to the flat botty dancing in a circle. You know the dance "Anal glands boogie "🫢🫣🤫🥴 He wasn't in a dancing mood, but his tech partner was an excellent conveniencer . She did an amazing job! I definitely recommend Rustburg Veterinary for ALL your Fur babies needs.Posted on Ronnie Austin2025-05-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In and out in 25 min. Great staff in every detail. Even our dog liked them.Posted on Brenda Walker2025-03-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rustburg Vet Clinic is great all around. Friendly & warm front desk girl that always comes around to speak & check on Peanut! She's a wonderful employee! I see her at Walmart sometimes & she always speaks! Dr. Hickey is extra special & warm & caring! Assistant that helped with Peanut was great too! Appreciate you all!Posted on Crystal Howell2025-03-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great first experience!! They took care of my Millie girl as she was already established in their system from her previous owners got all paperwork switched over to us without any problems. She had a check up and shots and is doing great. Will continue working with this veterinary office!!Posted on deborah kirkland2025-03-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everyone was extremely nice, and spoke to my pet as if Lilly was their own. They explained everything that was done and asked if had any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend them. Very professional.Posted on Jill2025-03-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This clinic used to be about the pets & their owners. Now it is all about the money! Was a customer there for 10 + yrs until new ownership decided to ignore proper patient care procedures. Least invasive treatment should be where any treatment plan starts. Instead, they promise surgery will fix everything and proceed to charge outrageous prices only to discover surgery doesn't fix it like they insisted it would. Then injections, antibiotics are charged to try to fix what surgery did not correct. My pet was subjected to stress & anxiety due to multiple trips for follow up visits and none of it solved the issue. I dared to question the front desk staff about this improper plan of treatment because the veteranarians didn't want to deal with questions from a common sense point of view. New owner is a large animal vet who charges large animal prices & doesn't even live in this area! Because I chose to inquire as to why least invasive procedures weren't used first, this office said I'm no longer allowed to be a customer there. I "voiced my displeasure in front of other customers" & was told not to return. I didn't yell or act belligerent. I simply questioned why my cat was subjected to pricey surgery that didn't even work! My questions went to front desk staff because no professionally trained veteranarian staff would face me to answer my questions. I highly suggest moving your beloved pets to another veteranarian office that actually cares about your fur babies & chooses to do the right treatment plan instead of going after your money. My bills were always paid in full. Zero stars wasn't an option but zero stars is what they deserve! ****In response to the Clinic's reply below***** As I stated, I've been going to the Rustburg clinic for over 10 yrs. I was born & raised in Rustburg and still live there. However, in the past year most of the original clinic staff isn't there and the new staff is rude, impolite & condescending as shown in their response to my review. My opinion is freedom of speech and you all did not forward any documents to my new vet, you emailed it to me and I forwarded the info. Prices have doubled or tripled in past 2 yrs! And my new vet actually sits down face to face with every pet parent and reviews care and detailed reasons for care. He explains EVERYTHING and doesn't talk down to people. And he doesn't have to sedate any of my pets as you all suggested should be done for my oldest cat. He's experienced and allows me to be present during examinations either her and he gets exam done without sedation. He also said leukemia shots & boosters are not recommended bc there is no actual way to prevent feline leukemia. So, I was charged many times for the vaccine for no reason apparently. It was a blessing to me and my pets to go to a new vet bc he is WONDERFUL! No talking down to people or acting as if he's better than like some of your staff does. Again, my opinion, my right to review. You can candy coat your response and try to make me look like idk what's going on but as a RN for humans I'm well aware that treatment and care is NOT a one size fits all for each patient. That's a given! But y'all went straight to dental surgery to remove canine teeth and then went to anti-inflammatory and then antibiotics. Surgery should have been last resort.....period! Blessed to be away from your clinic's poor manners.Posted on Charlene Maupin2025-01-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service.
